SPANISH POPULAR DANCES

They are the result of several changes in the dances celebrated throughout our history.

-SEVILLANAS: It is a sevillian folk song and dance, although it is also very popular in every Andalusian cities.

-CHOTIS: It is  typical dances in Madrid, to the sound of a barrel organ.

-JOTA: It is aldo called parranda and it is the typical dances in Murcia.

-FLAMENCO: It is the best-know Spanish dance. It cmes from the Andalusian gipsies.

  • TANGO: This dance cames from Argentina. It expresses itself sadness and sensuality. 

  • SALSA: It is a Latinoamerican mixture between conventional Jazz and latin folk.

  • VALS: It is an elegant dance with an sslowwrhythm. It cames from tirol ( Austria).

  • ROCK AND ROLL: It is a dance derived from a mixture of some American folk music genders.

  • BOLERO: It is a kind of music from Cuba, and it is very popular in every Hispanoamerican countries.

Dance is an art form that generally refers to movement of the body. 
It is used as a form of  expression.

Dance may also be regarded as a form of nonverbal communication between humans, this can express ideas, emotions, etc.

there are some sports that use the dance, such as  Gymnastics, figure skating and synchronized swimming.
